Day 1: Root chakra, feel safe
Today's chakra
Hi babe, welcome to day one ☁️
We're starting at the bottom, the root chakra, Muladhara. It sits at the base of your spine, it's red, its element is earth, and it's all about feeling safe, grounded and held.
Everything else stacks on top of it, so this is honestly the most important day. No pressure.
Today's practice (10 minutes)
1. Arrive: 1 minute
Sit on a cushion or a chair with your feet flat on the floor. Rest your hands palms down on your thighs. That's the grounding hand position. Take five slow breaths and feel how heavy your body is. Let it be heavy.
2. Breathe: 2 minutes
Slow box breathing. Follow the cloud.
Box breathing
breathe in 4 · hold 4 · breathe out 4 · hold 4
Ready when you are
3. Ground: 3 minutes
Stand up. Feet hip-width apart. Rock gently forward onto your toes, back onto your heels, side to side, then come to stillness in the middle. Feel all four corners of each foot press into the floor. Stay there and breathe for the rest of the timer.
4. Chant: 3 minutes
Sit back down. Chant LAM (rhymes with mom) on each long exhale, low and slow, like you're humming it into the ground.
LAM
3 minutes, with a soft chime at the end.
5. Journal: 1 minute
Write down: Where in my life do I feel safe? Where do I not? Three lines max. No editing.
Today's tiny real-life practice
Eat one meal today sitting down, phone away, actually tasting it. That's root chakra work. Seriously.

Eat one meal sitting down, phone away
One meal today, seated, no screens, actually tasting it. Grounding is literally that simple.
